Fed: Telstra outsources 450 jobs to India
Telstra has reportedly struck a deal to send 450 software jobs to India in the biggest
move of skilled Australian jobs to low-wage countries.
The Financial Review newspaper reports the deal is expected to slash $957 million in
costs and is just part of a controversial plan to send 1500 jobs offshore in the next
few years.
