NSW: Toddler found in stolen car
New South Wales police say a stolen car with a toddler strapped into the back seat
has been located in Sydney's west.
Police mounted a frantic search for the two-year-old child who was in the back of a
silver Daihatsu sedan stolen from Charlotte Street, Rooty Hill, about 6.35pm (AEST).
A police spokesman says the 1998 model Daihatsu was located nearby in Rooty Hill about 7.15pm.
He says police are in the process of recovering the vehicle and the child.
Today's incident follows the death of two-year-old LEO NGUYEN from heat exhaustion
after his mother's car was stolen from a Cabramatta street last December.
